California is well-recognized for its many environmental initiatives and awareness programs. They have exceeded government standards and have implemented self-regulating programs for many industries. One such industry is printing. California has more printing companies than any other state in the U.S. and even more environmental activists. (It is fitting that the recycled symbol was designed by a student studying at University of California, Berkeley.) We will continually strive to exceed EPA and government standards, enact pollution prevention and waste management practices, educate customers and the public on green eco-friendly practices and conserve energy, water and natural resources. Green ink® is Southeastern Printing’s environmentally friendly printing program. In addition to the current recycling and waste management practices already employed, Green ink® will allow our environmentally conscious customer to extend their “Green” efforts to their printed communication material. Lessening our impact on the environment and providing a safe workplace for our employees has long been a priority at Southeastern Printing and we are very proud to share this effort with our customers.

Since 1924, our company has evolved through implementation of changes to reduce our environmental impact and improve efficiency. We are continually seeking new opportunities through the latest technologies available and product advancement, to ensure we are always operate the Green ink® ways.

Currently there are no industry-wide standards outlining what a “Green Printer” should be. We are confident in our eco-friendliness because Southeastern Printing’s daily operations include ALL of the “Top ten green practices” of nation’s environmental leader, California.
